Maximizing the space: Smart design for small apartments
This design project for a small apartment is characterized by a smart use of space and an aesthetic approach to the organization of living space. Starting with the measurement plans and detailed furniture arrangement, the client and I set out to maximize functionality and comfort.
The layout of the apartment was carefully studied to make the most of every square meter. As a result, the furniture is arranged in such a way as to provide convenient access and optimize space. One of the space zoning solutions of this project is a partition that separates the sleeping area from the rest of the space. This not only creates a sense of intimacy and privacy, but also adds structure to the space.
To make the space lighter and more inviting, we used light colors and large windows that provide plenty of natural light. The furniture was chosen in a minimalist style with simple lines and minimal details to create a sense of space and lightness.
In addition, it is important to consider the functionality of each design element. For example, furniture can be multifunctional, providing convenience and storage, as well as the ability to be transformed for use in different situations, for example, the project uses a bar counter that also serves as an additional workplace, perfectly zoning the kitchen and living room.
One of the accents in this apartment was a steel shelf, which with its unusual shape complements the overall interior.

Another important aspect of this project was the use a photo from the photo shoot featuring the wives of Azov soldiers who are in captivity. This serves as a reflection of our memory and always reminds us of the terrible present that the Ukrainian people are fighting.
What about the kitchen?
Let's start with a steel worktop, which gives the kitchen a modern industrial look. Steel is great for kitchen worktops because it is very durable and easy to clean. In addition, it creates an elegant and modern look.
The glass backsplash adds transparency and space to the kitchen. White kitchen cabinet fronts with minimalist steel handles add light and simplicity to the interior. The minimalist accent lamps in the kitchen work area add not only lighting but also a stylish accent to the space.
The steel table combined with dark wooden chairs adds a touch of contrast and naturalness to the interior. This combination of materials creates a harmonious and cozy space for pleasant family dinners or meetings with friends.
Dark teal blue
Large dark teal blue wardrobes in the entrance area are installed along the wall to provide additional storage space. This color gives the entrance area a sophisticated and modern look.
The wall-mounted cabinet adds functionality and style to the space, which can be used to store keys, gloves or other necessary items when leaving the house.
A large mirror with a wooden frame that matches the floor and the bathroom door creates visual depth and expands the space. The wooden frame adds natural warmth and naturalness to the interior.
